About

Haypp Group is the worlds largest e-Commerce for tobacco-free nicotine pouches. The company, has is based in Scandinavia and manages brands such as Snusbolaget and Nicokick. The goal was to disrupt the industry from the get-go through the company’s vision to: “Inspire healthier enjoyment for millions”.

The target audience is consumers seeking less harmful alternatives. Haypp Group is today active in 8 countries and has close to 800,000 recurring customers. Products offered on the e-Commerce platform come from well-known brands such as Zyn, Skruf, Shiro and Lyft.

Challenge

Haypp Group is a young company with high year-on-year growth. The growth goals are continuously high, but one challenge is the marketing opportunities within each market. Search channels have been the primary digital marketing channel for Haypp Group since Instagram and Facebook have strict policies when marketing nicotine products. 

 

”We reached a limit to what we could do with Google. We needed new ways to reach our customers that aren’t actively looking for our products. We also wanted a channel that could convert relevant site visitors who left our website without purchasing anything. Simply put, a channel to create cost-efficient retargeting and prospecting campaigns.” Says Theodor Lönnefeldt, e-Commerce Manager at Haypp Group.

Results

Theodor and his in-house marketing team had high-set requirements for their advertising platform. Flexibility, transparency and real-time, detailed information was highly prioritised. It was also required to be able to build and launch good looking creatives. They needed a platform that suited their needs and could also offer strategic and operational support.

After primarily measuring CPA on their retargeting campaigns, Theodor and his team are beginning to measure ROAS (Return On Advertising Spend), mainly for the German market.

Since the start, Match2One’s Customer Success team have had an active supporting role for all Haypp Group’s campaigns.

For example, our Customer Success Manager initiated a prospecting strategy with a CPC goal to bring relevant traffic to our website. Once we had an increase in site visitors, they launched a well-thought-out retargeting campaign with a CPA goal. This was a successful growth strategy – we could first catch the interest of potential customers and later convert visitors. Theodor also appreciates the close relationship with Match2One’s Customer Success team. Match2One manages all campaigns and analyses the results. The team also often recommends ideas to increase campaign performance.

 

”Recently, Match2One’s team analysed what type of customer segments were most likely to convert on our website. Based on that information, they launched a separate keyword campaign.
